Jimmy LaValle’s work as The Album Leaf has long been an inspiration to me—his ability to craft deeply emotive, atmospheric compositions has shaped the ambient and post-rock landscape for decades. When he reached out with stems for this piece, I didn’t hesitate.

His signature delicate piano and cinematic textures provided a stunning foundation, and I approached my contributions with the goal of enhancing that space—adding layers of synths, guitars, and ambient textures to deepen the emotional resonance. The result is a piece that feels like a true conversation between our sonic styles, blending his unmistakable warmth with my love for immersive, evolving soundscapes. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this one.
