VIBRATION

"vibration" is a departure from the guitar-based ambient drone and experimental sound that I've established on my previous releases. I set out with great intention to create an ep that featured heavy usage of synthesizers, electronic sounds, drums, melody, and extremely minimal guitar.

I find that it is often good to shake the ground we stand on to see if we are able to find our footing.

My growing interest and obsession with electronic instruments and synths came to a climax and these songs took shape. They are softly baked and may see changes over time. But for now, I want them to see the light of the world.

These tracks were mostly crafted during our move from Astoria, NY to Austin, TX. They were completed in Austin and released during the pandemic of 2020.

As always, thank you to my family and my friends for their inspiration and support. But most importantly, thank you to Hanna - you are my inspiration, my light, my love every day. *you'll never read this, but knowing it's here makes me happy*
