LIGHTHOUSE ON MARS

A live, improvised meditation free of any studio overdubs. Performed in a ground-level basement in Brewster, NY in Putnam County. Often times at the beginning of my ambient journey I would just sit and play for hours. I would almost never be recording and I was mostly just filming with my phone to post to Instagram. This was one of those times.

Being new to our condo that we only stayed in for two months - I wasn’t in the most comfortable state of mind, but I sat to have a play about - I filmed it and posted clips of it to Instagram. The clips received some positive responses which prompted me to post the entire video to YouTube and then since I was new to this whole “putting out my own music thing” I thought it only right to publish it to Spotify and sell it on Bandcamp.

The result is an evolving journey through space until landing triumphantly on Mars.
